Objections are a part of life. It doesn’t matter how perfect you think your product or service is. People are going to have objections to buying it no matter what.
So, of course, what you need to do is overcome those objections in your copy. It’s a guaranteed (and frankly, pretty easy) way of increase your conversions.
Here are the top three which come up in EVERY product/service in every niche…
Objection #1: Price – Explain why your price is what it is. EVEN if it’s the lowest in your industry (in which case, I feel bad for you because that model is unsustainable).
Objection #2: Your Credibility – Trust is a rare thing these days. I’ve actually had people tell me they don’t trust the live chat box on my site. Personally I don’t understand how that’s even possible, but it proves my point even further. Because of this, you have to do everything in your power to show people that you ARE qualified to be selling whatever it is that you’re selling.
Objection #3: Your Guarantee/Return Policy – Guarantees used to work like gangbusters. Not anymore. Again, people don’t trust that you’ll actually stick to the guarantee/return policy. So as always, the action item is to explain exactly how it works and even how they’re “guaranteed” to get their money back if they ask.
(Get creative, you’ll think of ways to do that)
There are likely dozens more objections that your customers are thinking as they’re going through your buying process. But if you cover those three alone, you’ll be better off than most.
Your conversions will go up, you’ll start gaining more marketshare, and your credibility will go up in unison.
